Descriptions that become categories
Statements come with abbreviated, repetitive descriptions. Common examples of how transactions usually appear:

- Boleto recebido

You confirm the category once, for example Suppliers, Bank fees or Service revenue, and the system starts recognizing similar transactions on its own.

Questions about Cora statements
Does Categorizei recognize Cora statements?
Yes. The system already knows the Cora statement format. You upload the file and the transactions are read with date, description and amount.
Which format should I download from Cora?
On the statement screen in internet banking or the app, look for the export or save option. If OFX is available, choose that format. PDF, Excel and CSV are also accepted.
What about the credit card statement?
Not yet. Today, reading credit card statements works for Itaú (Excel, CSV and PDF) and Banco do Brasil. For Cora, you can enter the card purchases manually until support for this bank's card statements arrives.
Does uploading the same month twice create duplicates?
No. The system recognizes transactions that were already imported, and only new transactions use credits.
